Pole Files Interview 21: Cleo ‘The Hurricane’ Pole Dancer


The next Pole file interview is with Cleo ‘The Hurricane’. She rocks the stage with her rocking music and awesome stage presence. Cleo has an awesome ability to capture a audience will she is performing. She has the most unique style  I have seen in the pole world.

Quick Bio.

Cleo is a force to be reckoned with, she has an appetite for destruction and will rock you like a Hurricane! Sydney’s very own rock chick ‘Cleo’ is Miss Pole Dance Australia 2012. Having pole danced since 2007, Cleo packed up her life and moved to Sydney in 2010 to teach at the world renowned Bobbi’s Pole Studio Sydney where her unique 'pole power' style was developed, giving her the nickname ‘The Hurricane’ by Bobbi herself. 

Cleo only likes to dance to awesome bands like Steel Panther and Motley Crüe because there is nothing better than rockin’ out on a pole! She is also a musician, playing drums and guitar and has played in rock bands since she was a teenager. Cleo rocks.

after taking my first class

Describe your style.

it rocks like a hurricane! Flexy, strong and powerful

Favourite move?

at the moment it's the Hurri-copter.. a freestanding headstand into a head spin then split. Also love my scissor kicks from a static V position and the horizontal jade split is an oldie but a goodie!

Tools of the trade, what can’t you live without when pole dancing?

my 7 inch stilettos!

Any hobbies or passions outside of pole dancing?

Music!!! I play drums, a bit of guitar and sing in a new band. still looking for a name so if anyone can help i'm open to ideas!! it's sexy dirty rock

Pole Files Interview 20: Karol Helms Pole Dancer

20th Interview is with the one of the most amazing women in the pole dancing world, Karol Helms. She is an inspiration to all but pole dancers and myself included. She has come up with some of the greatest pole moves, please take the time to look through Karols Youtube, there some awesome videos.

Quick Bio.
Karol Helms is famous in the pole community for her sexy, unique flow and dramatic drops and fall stunts.  Also known as RED_KE71 on YouTube, Karol’s pole dancing obsession began in 2006 when she purchased an X-Pole and began self teaching herself and helping others through videos on YouTube.  She started competing in 2008 and currently holds the titles of Charlotte’s Poleapalooza 2008, USPDF East Coast Champ 2009, and USPDF Miss Sexy 2010. Now, sponsored by X-Pole, and a Brand Director of the Pole Fit line by Bad Kitty, Karol loves traveling around the world performing and teaching others to find confidence and strength through the art of pole dancing.

The moment you realised you love pole dancing?
The first time I nailed my first inverted move, I knew I was hooked..!

Describe your style.
My Style is slow, controlled, and sexy!

Favorite move? 
Superman fall,because its such a dramatic move when done right and because I created it..!


Tools of the trade, what can’t you live without when pole dancing?
I cant live without my Glitter Heels, rubbing alcohol, Tite grip (for my sweaty hands) and my PoleFit shorts by Bad Kitty!

Any hobbies or passions outside of pole dancing?
Well, you wouldn’t know it by looking at me, but I love love love to cook..!! I also grew up loving to oil paint and draw thanks to Bob Ross..!

Can't live without?
My friends, my family, my amazing fans who support me so much, and of course my new 40mm X-Pole..!

Growing up I wanted to be a.....
Growing up I wanted to be a lot of things, artist, rock and roll singer, and zoologist just to name a few, but never did I think that I would grow up to be a professional pole dancer..!

Pole Files Interview 19: Bailey Hart Pole Dancer

My Next interview with with the beautiful and amazing Bailey Hart. Miss Suqie Q recommended that I interview Bailey.


Bailey has been pole dancing for a while now but in the last year she has become a fantastic performer and has many awards to show.

How long have you been doing pole dancing?

6 1/2 years.


The moment you realised you love pole dancing?

The day I started! I walked in through the doors of Bobbi's Pole Studio - with Suzie's smile and bubbly personality ( I think she was secretly freaking out that we looked so alike ), the amazingly positive energy that came from everyone in the room, then I learnt my first spin - from that moment I was hooked!







Describe your style.

I like to think of it as 'Bailey's Style'. I do what I feel fits the moment.

Favorite move? 

I don't know how to pick! I'll give you a top five (at this current moment - as it changes constantly!)...
In no particular order - Any variation of the Allegra, the Fista aka the Blaze, Carpe Diem, shoulder mount body rolls :D, and.... Oooo Carlie's Devils elbow! 

Tools of the trade, what can’t you live without when pole dancing?

Dry hands and Dew Point! 

Any hobbies or passions outside of pole dancing?

Theatre, film, and aerial silks/Lyra 

Can't live without?

My loved ones ESP my Terry dog, mangoes, and biscuits 'n' tea!

Growing up I wanted to be a....

Performer - always wanted to be singing, dancing and acting.
